About Elsewhere

Elsewhere is a Crafted Tools project for researching and planning combinations of work, location, housing, income and time. These terms describe the conditions for using the service. If you do not agree to them, do not use Elsewhere. Questions can be sent to info@craftedtools.app.

Elsewhere is a planning tool, not an employer, recruiter, immigration adviser, booking service or representative of opportunity providers. It does not submit applications or make commitments to providers on your behalf unless a feature expressly says so and you authorize it.

Your account and responsibilities

You must have the legal capacity or authorization required to use the service and agree to these terms. Provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Tell us if you believe your account has been misused.

You are responsible for your planning assumptions, decisions, applications, communications and commitments. Keep your own copies of important work, especially unsaved writing and downloaded files.

Listings, budgets and AI are research aids

A source-check date records a review of a provider source, not a guarantee that a place, job, payment, housing arrangement or application window remains available. Some listings describe fee-based residencies, recruitment processes or proposals rather than confirmed paid work. Confirm eligibility, costs, deadlines, compensation and contract terms directly with the provider.

Budgets and comparisons depend on your inputs and may omit taxes, travel, deposits, insurance, currency changes or other costs. AI suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. Review and independently verify outputs before relying on them. Elsewhere does not provide legal, immigration, tax, financial or medical advice, and does not guarantee admission, work, income or permission to live or work in a country.

Your content and other people's rights

You retain the rights you hold in the content you provide. You give Crafted Tools permission to store, process and display that content as needed to provide the features you use, including sharing with your chosen recipients and processing requested AI features through service providers.

Only provide content you are entitled to use. Respect intellectual property, confidentiality and personal information. Do not upload or submit someone else's sensitive information without appropriate authority. Third-party listings and source materials remain subject to their owners' rights. AI output may not be original or free of third-party rights.

Acceptable use

Do not use Elsewhere for harassment, discrimination, scams, spam, impersonation, unlawful activity or misleading opportunity claims. Do not attempt to access another person's private records, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or collect member information without authorization.

Crafted Tools may investigate reports and restrict access or remove content where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or violations of these terms. Contact info@craftedtools.app if you believe a restriction was made in error.

Beta access and payments

Planning access is free during this beta, and new paid checkout is paused. Features, limits and availability may change as the beta develops. No future paid service is authorized merely by using the free beta; any new charge requires a separate disclosed purchase process.

Provider fees, external services and your own commitments are separate from Elsewhere. Any existing subscription or earlier purchase remains subject to its applicable purchase terms; the free beta does not itself cancel or refund it. Contact info@craftedtools.app with an account or billing question. File uploads and stored-attachment downloads are currently paused.

Privacy, retention and ending use

Read the Privacy policy for information about data use, AI processing and sharing. Our account-data policy is deletion after 12 months of inactivity with advance email notice. During beta, retention reviews and deletion requests are handled manually, not by an automatic deletion timer.

You can stop using Elsewhere and request account deletion at info@craftedtools.app. Requests require appropriate verification and may be subject to limited legal, security or dispute-related retention exceptions described in the Privacy policy. Keep a copy of work you need before account deletion.

Availability and your legal rights

The beta is provided as available and may contain errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Crafted Tools does not promise uninterrupted service, error-free outputs or fitness for your particular plans. External organizations are responsible for their own offers and services.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, or restricts mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory rights. These terms do not replace your separate agreements with external providers.

Changes and contact
